Hong Kong Trip Part 5

This is the last part of HK Trip..

Finally man..

The next day after a night staying at Macau..

We go back to HK by ferry..

At the custom there is too many people, so we reached at HK quite late..

So, we didn't go to Disneyland on that day..

We went to "Lui Yan Gai" ( The Women Street )

The street is more or less like Petaling Street, like pasar malam..

Along the street, there are many stalls that sell things..

Like clothes, toys, bags all that..

Just like what we can see in pasar malam la..

They sell the things that at very high price..

But we can negotiate with them..

But after you do that, you better buy the things or else they will get mad and do what they want to do with you..

Quite scary.. But you really can get really cheap things there..

Very famous.. Must not miss that when you all go to HK..

We went there a few times..

The Tong Shui there is too nice..

Muahaha..

That day is Christmas Eve!!

Many roads were blocked by no reason..

We thought that there might be show or some celebration..

But, nope!! OMG..

The people were like ants on the road..

So many.. They just walk here and there for nothing!

Insane!!

There were even polices there.. So stun..

We went to Disneyland on the 25th Dec 2008..

It is amazing!! Although mum and dad says that it is far too small if compared with the other countries like Japan..

But it is super shuang to go in there..

It's like a dream to go in there..

It is so not real!

You are surrounded by Disney things..

Everything you see are related to Disney..

The building are actually shops.. =)

I'm on a Q to a ride..

The ride is super fun..

It is like you go into a spaceship, and they got guns for you to shoot the target..

To collect the points and see how much points you get at the end of the ride..

I won my bro 2 times.. =P

Actually the Disneyland is really small..

Dad says it is going to bankrupt soon because nobody wants to go..

Unless it is on special day like x'mas..

Bumped into mum and dad during that boat ride..
By the way, in Disneyland, Bro and I didn't follow mum and dad..

Because they can't ride roller coaster all that..

Actually most of the game we can see in Genting..

The 3D show in Disneyland really nice!!

It is so real! Super fun to watch that 3D show..

It is a must to watch that!!

Their shop are well decorated!!
When you see what they sell, you will gone insane!!

All of them so cute, so nice and you will feel like bring everything back!

But it is too expensive la..

Actually the effect is from a glasses given by Disneyland..

We can use the glasses to watch the fireworks then you can see as if there are angels flying..

Hong Kong Trip Part 4

We went to MACAU! Yeah!

=P I should have post this ages ago..

But, busy during CNY, lazy before CNY..

Haha.. So I have forgotten most of the detail..

I will just go through la..

.

The funny looking building is actually a casino..

Used to be a casino I think..

I don't know if it is still working..

But there is a new casino call Vene.. something.. I forgotten the name.. My god..

.

To get to Macau for Hong Kong, we have to take the ferry..

I think it is a ferry for about 45 minutes if I not mistaken..

My mum very pening during the 45 minutes.. Haha.. Sea sick..

.

Then, we went to check in in the hotel call Holiday Inn again..

That hotel is super lousy than the Holiday Inn we stay in Hong Kong..

They have the same name but I don't understand why they have so big difference!

It is super creepy inside the hotel!

But the Chinese Restaurant there is super good..

The food there, yummy..

We when to take the dim sum there as breakfast.. Nice..

.

We actually missed the one day trip that we can register from the hotel..

So dad go rent a car plus a driver that can bring us around Macau..

The person told us that there is a car that can drive 5 of us with HK dollar 350..

So it is about RM1++ is M'sia..

We can rent the car for 4 hours, so we think that it is super cheap ~~

When the car come, we all were happy because the car is super nice and super big..

Bigger than Alphard!

Mana tahu when the driver dropped us a the last stop, which ends the 4 hours..

Dad paid him 350 dollar plus tips..

Then the driver chase us and say..

.

Driver : Sir, I'm sorry.. It is not correct..

.

Dad : Nope, it is correct.. The rest is for you as tips..

.

Driver : No, it is 350 dollar per hour..

.

We all super shocked and dad have to pay him 1400 dollar plus just now that 50 dollar tips..

It is so not worth it man!!

At first we somemore pity the driver because he have to wait us at every stop..

So mum and dad want to give him tips.. OMG..

It is the most expensive 4 hours in my entire life..

.

I don't know where is it..

But it is one of the interesting place in Macau..

I think there used to be the hiding place when war..

We saw many tunnels..

Ages ago, there was a building..
I think is a church la..
There was a big fire and burn down the whole building and left this piece of wall remain unchanged..

I don't know how much..

Dad paid everthing..

Inside the meseum got all sort of old things..

My mum said, last time her house is like the photo above..
They use those ladder to go upstair, to hang clothes..
She said it was super scary..

The olden days kitchen..
Last time when my mum's house caught fire..
She thought that the house will still be there just like the place they put wood and start up the fire to cook( refer photo )...
After the fire, she realised that the house is gone so she go ask my grandma..
My grandma scolded her and say :" burn already sure gone la! "
My mum too naive that time.. XP

I don't know how to put my hands..

I saw people climb up that thing to take photo..

Crazy..

Then, we go to the Macau Tower..

I don't know why I didn't take photo of that tower..

So stupid..

On top of the tower, got some part, they put glass or dunno what as the floor..

So that we can stand on it as if we are flying or floating..

My bro and I not dare to do that.. We scare the thing can't support our weight..

XD We just put one of our legs on it..

We saw people do bungy jumping..

Last stop..

The casino I was saying just now..

Vene.. something..
It is located in a mall..

Or the mall located in the casino..

The casino and the mall is connected la..

We are under age..

So we can't go in.. Too bad..

My parents and grandma go in only..

We got buy the egg tart to eat also when in Macau..

Super nice..

The egg tart is totally different from the one in M'sia..

Even the name is different..

M'sia call "dan tart", HK call "pou tart"..

CNY in Penang & Bkt. Merah

On the 4th day of CNY..

Nothing special.. Reached Penang at night then we had our dinner together..

Then went back to sleep..

.

5th day of CNY, that is 30th of Jan is my cousin's birthday!!

Happy Birthday to him..

The cake is super big and with a Jerry on top.. So cool man..

The cake is super nice..

Vanilla and got longan inside the cake.. Yummy..

My mum's mum that is my grandma cook meehon, red eggs that day..

Nice nice.. Haha..

At first they want to buy McD but they think not necessary because sure we can't finish so many food.. They got buy also Indian Rojak.. Super full that day..

Actually I wake super late on that day..

My family and I stay at my grandma house..

But my grandma and my aunt and her kids stay at Gurney..

Then they decided to come over and celebrate at my grandma house..

When they reached, I was still sleeping..

Not willing to wake up..

Before they come, my mum tried to wake me up..

But I don't want to..

Guess why..

Because I heard that evil witch fat ugly old bitch aunt's voice..

I don't want to call her auntie..

I willing to lie on the bed until she leave..

But no! She didn't leave..

WTH! I have to wake up because my aunt and my grandma them had arrived..

I quickly jump down from the bed and wash face, brush teeth..

Then simply change and get ready to celebrate with the birthday boy..

I don't even have time to comb my hair! It is all someone's fault! Grr.. Angry!

After the celebration, I went to Gurney Plaza to buy gift for him..

My bro and I share the gift..

We bought him remote control sport car..

RM 29.90.. Quite cheap la..

Since his sister will rampas toy with him, so bro and I have to buy another one for his sis...

Haven't count the batteries..

Kelian the sport car almost spoil on the next day..

They dunno how to protect their toys.. T.T

6th day of CNY..
All of us went back to Bukit Merah in Perak..
Which is my grandma's old house!
We go back there once a year..
There really is the original kampung!
All rumah papan.. Too bad the government is going to roboh the whole village to build railway..
That day early in the morning, we went back there already..
Because we wanted to eat the Roti Canai there which is super nice and cheap and fresh..
But, it is close on that day!
Super disappointed man!!!

We went to Laketown..
It is a water theme park..
Something like Sunway Lagoon..
My bro, my cousin and I went to cycle..
While the small kids go for baby rides with their mum..

RM5 per hour..
Actually they don't care how long you cycle..
As long as you pay and you return the bike..
So we cycle for like 2 hours I think..
So hot! My butt super hurt because the seat is super hard!
Like sitting on the road..
Until now, my butt still hurt! T.T

My baby cousins call their mum to buy yang bukan-bukan again..
Train.. LOL..
My grandma cooked for dinner..
Super duper nice!

The next day we back to KL early in the morning..
No jam.. =)

CNY in Kuala Perlis

That's my dad.. Erm, no no..

He is my dad after 15 years I think.. XD

My dad used to look like a samseng..

I heard from my grandma that, he once tried to escape from going to University and my grandma forced him to go onto the bus to go Ipoh for University..

Thank God that he didn't continue to be a "lala" and graduated from University..

And now giving me luxurious life.. Yeah!!

Now, back to the topic..

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!!

I just came back yesterday morning from my kampung..

So tiring to travel so far..

On the 29th night, us, the whole family reached Kuala Perlis at 8pm at night..

A bit jam.. Plus we stop by at my mum's mum's house for quite awhile..

Nothing much that night.. Go for dinner then off to bed and sleep..

.

On the 30th night, phew..

Lots of work.. Cleaning the house.. Rush here and there..

Then my uncle reached on that day too.. Bringing his son and cute daughter..

She is so adorable.. Smile and laugh easily.. Fun! Hehe..

Then, reunion dinner starts.. Lots of food.. Yum Yum..

One year only can eat once..

I helped in the kitchen!! XD

The at night, everyone change to their new pajamas, new bra, new underwear, new panties, everything new..

Then prepare to get angpau.. Yeah! Hoho..

Shuang! Damn happy..

Forgot to mention that my grandma's house got aircond!

I'm not suffering from the hot weather there!! Hehe!

The first day of CNY is so cham for me..

I'm grounded! Totally grounded!!

I can't even step out of the house..

Nope, I didn't do anything wrong..

But my superstitious mum said that I can't go out for some reason..

Hard to explain at here because it involve many chinese words.. Haha..

Plus this year first day of CNY is a very bad day..

So we didn't do any visiting to people's house..

There are people that come to visit us.. So, we got angpau.. Hehe..

At night, we went to eat ikan bakar!

Our tradition.. We do that every year.. The ikan bakar there is really nice, all the time!

I don't eat ikan bakar in KL because I think it is not fresh.. And not nice.. XD

The day ends ordinarily.. Except for my cousin spoilt all my decoration on the plants..

He spoilt almost everything.. Including my mobile phone.. T.T

He used his " car car " to knock on my mobile phone!

Heart broken..

Another bad news is, 6 of my buttons on my hp are cracked!

Ohmigosh! It is so! Argh! S.A.D!

.

Second day of CNY.. Yeah, finally we can go out!

Basically, after I took my bath and get changed, I went to sleep until my auntie, uncle and my cousin come back..

Without her, CNY is so boring!

Then we went to visit people..

First stop, we went to my grandpa's sister's house..

There got many people.. So many angpau because my grandpa's sister got son and daughter and the son and daughter's son and daughter..

The conclusion is, got many angpau la.. =.=

Then my grandpa's sister cook laksa.. Yum!

My favorite!! Super nice.. Kuala Perlis's style asam laksa..

Our gambling "kaki" all at there too.. XD

I purposely take photo of their "kaki" somemore.. Wahaha..

.

I won quite a lot from there actually.. We played black jack, "Siam gamble", 3 cards..

But I won! Hoho.. I won about RM16 from there.. My bro won even more.. =P

After gambling, we went to my grandpa's brother's house..

The my grandpa's brother got a daughter..

There smaller family but got angapu also.. Haha.. Far relative..

Complicated.. I always forgot what to call them..

Then my cousin taught me a way of remembering them.. XD

She said just remember their relationship then will know what to call..

It works! =)

Then, we go back for dinner.. That night my got abalone to eat..

Actually I not very like it la.. It taste like mushroom only..

I don't like mushroom.. =.=

I don't know to nikmati it.. Wasted..

It is bedtime again.. My nightmare man!!!

I just now forgot to mention how scary my uncle's snoring is!

All kids sleep together with his family..

Actually just me, bro and my cousin.. The rest is his family..

We all sleep in one room..

His snore sounds like earthquake, volcano!!

Can you imagine how scary it is.. I often woke by his snore in the middle of the night..

My cousin is damn clever.. She brought back her earphone.. She put on her earphone when she sleep and she hear nothing but peace.. So not fair!

Because I forgot to bring mine.. T.T

She past away few years ago my grandma's brother's family are staying there..
So we go there to visit..

Then, we all went to my mum's cousin's house and had dinner with them..
We reached my grandma's house about 11pm that night..
I also dunno why we back so late..
Basically, 3 of us just go there to take angpau and eat..
The adult keep on sembang non-stop only..

During that dinner.. My Zhi Lian Bro and Cousin.. =.=

That night is the last night we stay there..
So we continue gamble..
We play jackpot this time..
The game goes like this...
Each round we all throm RM1 into the "jackpot"..
And each of us get 2 cards..
Then we have to draw a card to get the number in between the numbers of the two cards we get just now..
Before you draw, you have to say how much you want to take from the jackpot if you win..
If you lose, you have to pay the amount of money you said just now into the jackpot..
In the end, my bro get all the money because he said he wan all the money inside the jackpot and damn, he won.. Grr... T.T
My money.. But actually I didn't win and didn't lose this year I think..
Because before that I win quite a lot..
My bro pity both me and my cousin and gave each of us RM10.. We slept at 3am that night..

The forth day of CNY, we back to Penang.. To visit my mum's mum..
